Hi — I'm Eyrn. I run Brisc Studios out of Chicago, though there's a decent chance I'm writing this from somewhere else entirely.

I spent seven years building content systems and brand voice for a company whose work I believed in. Somewhere in there I noticed the businesses that struggled weren't short on effort. They were short on someone who'd sat down and decided, plainly, what they wanted to be known for. Brisc Studios exists because I'm good at being that person.

Outside of client work, I'm usually doing one of four things: in third position at the barre. Halfway into a book I'll talk your ear off about if you let me. Somewhere I've never been before, alone, with my film camera from the 80s. Or trying to figure out the best thing on a menu in a language I'm still learning.

Solo travel taught me to trust my own read on a place before anyone else's take gets in the way. Ballet taught me that precision and feeling aren't opposites, but instead, they're the same skill, practiced until it looks easy.

Both of those show up in how I work. I don't take a brand's word for what it sounds like. I watch it for a while first, and then I tell you the truth about what I saw.
